Oh, go ahead and scream. I know just how you feel.
If it makes you feel any better, I’ve been in your shoes.
I’ve wanted to be a writer so bad that it actually hurts.
I’ve had stories living in me that I wanted to tell, but it just didn’t happen.
Either I started and didn’t finish, or I never even started at all. Or I wrote the story, but it didn’t match the idea I had in my head.
And I ended up feeling like I was wasting my time. Or like my muse hated my guts. Or like I was never going to be a good enough writer to be published.
Trust me. I get the frustration.
But the good news is that I figured out why I was so frustrated and why I had such a hard time.
And once I knew why, I was able to actually finish the books I started and write stories that publishers like Penguin and MacMillan would buy from me.
