This started out to be a post about buying a cheap little desk off of Facebook Marketplace. As I wrote it, though, I realized that what it’s really about is figuring out how to solve a problem.
And really, about how human beings nearly always skip the most vital step when we try to solve a problem.
I thought my problem was that I hated winter and, secondary problem, there are too many people living in my house. I can’t stand going out in the cold so I end up working at home all the time. And because there are so many people living in my house, I have to work in my bedroom when I work at home.
So, all winter long, I spend like 20 hours a day in my bed. Either sleeping or propped up on pillows, working.
