“More powerful than the mighty armies is an idea whose time has come.”
― Victor Hugo
You’ve got this idea. It makes your heart pound, it’s so good. You are absolutely sure that it’s the one. You know the one.
This idea is your bestseller. It’s your blockbuster. It’s your viral gateway to the world. You are absolutely sure that you have finally landed on the idea that’s going to take you where you want to go.
And now what?
Your instinct might be to keep it to yourself. To build a cocoon around it, because what if you share that idea and someone else takes it?
What if talk about that book you want to write or the business you want to start or whatever your big idea is — and it’s stolen right out from under you?
I won’t lie. It’s a possibility. Someone might take your idea and run with it. But I think that it’s worth the risk, for a few reasons.
