Today’s writing prompt is inspired by the following quote:
“There is an innocence in admiration; it is found in those to whom it has never yet occurred that they, too, might be admired some day.”
Friedrich Nietzsche
Choose your archetype and use this writing prompt in the following ways (or get creative and let the prompt guide you!):
The Hesitater: Who do you admire the most? Why? Who do they admire?
The Teacher: Is it healthy to hold admiration for other’s achievements? Does it set unhealthy standards for the admirer? Give us a lesson in achieving goals with a sprinkle of psychology.
The Spiller: Have you ever been let down by someone you admired? What affect did that have on you and your goals/dreams?
The Skipper: The quote above was stated by Friedrich Nietzsche. Who is he and why is he important? Is he someone who should be admired?
The Artist: Write a love/gratitude letter to someone you’ve always admired. What role did their story play in your own story?
