Daily Writing Prompt:
A lesson in writing a braided essay and a recording from the Ninja Writers Basic Tech Help call.
Let’s learn how to write a different type of essay for today’s daily writing prompt.
Take a look at this Braided Essay tutorial.
Braided essays start with 2-3 events or topics. Like braided strands, the events or topics weave in and out to touch on an overall larger topic. One of my favorite examples of a braided essay is The Braided Heart by Brenda Miller.
The Braided Essay is a great format for memoirists to learn.
Here’s the recording for our weekly Basic Tech Help Call. This episode covers Medium Basics, Domain Names, and Linking.
