Today’s writing prompt comes from the New York Times.
Choose your archetype and use this writing prompt in the following ways (or get creative and let the prompt guide you!):
The Hesitater: What was your favorite book as a child? Have you reread it recently? Does it still hold the same feelings?
The Teacher: Teach us the importance of revisiting your old favorite books. How do you get new information out of something you’ve read a million times already?
The Spiller: Do your childhood favorites define the state of your childhood? Maybe you found comfort in books. Why?
The Skipper: List three ways you could reimagine your favorite childhood classic.
The Artist: Where are the characters of your favorite childhood book now? Are they grown up like you? How are they dealing with life?
