Here’s today’s prompt:
“The meaning of a word — to me — is not as exact as the meaning of a color. Colors and shapes make a more definite statement than words.” -Georgia O’Keefe
Choose your archetype and use this writing prompt in the following ways (or get creative and let the prompt guide you!):
The Hesitater: What’s your favorite color? Do you know why you like it? When you started liking it? Share your happiest memory associated with that color.
The Teacher: How can we include more color in our lives? Why is it important now more than ever to have color in our homes, wardrobes, etc.? How does having more color in our lives effect our moods?
The Spiller: What color do you associate with love? With anger? With Happiness? Don’t give the obvious answer; we all know that pink=love. Instead, think about your personal experiences with color.
The Skipper: Do some research. Choose a color and give us a brief history of that color. This is a great starting point.
The Artist: Create a color palette for your life. Start with your favorite color as a child and blossom from there. Think of it like a time line of your life as seen through color.
