I’ve had this idea for a long, long time that I’ve never really put into action.
I think 2021 is the year. Because if there was ever a year that really needs to not suck, this is it.
Here’s the idea: I want to have a personal theme for each month. I’ve tried this before and gotten as far as creating the themes. But in the past, I think, I’ve always gotten too caught up in the planning to really dig into implementing.
Last night I was playing around with the idea in my bujo, as one does, and I hit on the idea of something simpler that I think will work. What if I have a theme for each month and just challenge myself to three things related to it.
Read a book. Form a habit. Meet a goal.
The theme can guide other things. I follow James Altucher’s advice about making a list of ten ideas per month. My theme could help guide those idea lists. And they could help me with prioritizing my time and efforts.
But if I just read a book, worked on developing a habit, and met a goal for each theme? That could be epic, right?
