I’m so glad you’re here.

Writing and teaching are my passions. Sometimes I can’t believe that doing both is my job.

Ninja Writers is the most amazing writing community on the planet. I started it in 2015 and I’ve never looked back.

I have an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Sierra Nevada College. I’ve been published by Penguin and Macmillan. And I publish short (but intense) books for writers with Ninja Writers Press.
